Fluid Dynamics For Nurses

McCartney, movies and more frogs ...

Paul McCartney has been very involved in various film projects over the years. From his time with the Beatles, co starring in classic films like "A Hard Day's Night", "Help", "Magical Mystery Tour", or the controversial documentary "Let It Be" [which won an Academy Award for Best Original Music "]. All these master tapes of songs that revel beyond forming a soundtrack, seals become our own lives.

Even after the breakup of the band from Liverpool ... Paul would give anything else to talk about.

By his own account, once formed his group of 70's [Wings], composed and played probably the best song in the entire series of films "Bond." With "Live and Let Die" Paul reminded the critics that it was not all honey and chips ... and I broke the ears to the sound of a real tribute to rock.

Speaking of honey and crushed ... How can we forget the child theme escapades McCartney composed a decade later for the film "Rupert the Bear"? Paul sang the ballad next to main ... frogs (no, not kidding), and even the single cover is signed "Paul McCartney & the Frog Chorus"

Ironically, for a song that was criticized as a 'joke' and played down enough artistic credibility to the musician "We All Stand Together" stayed on the charts in the UK several weeks in 1984 y. .. Back! during Christmas time next year. Was included in the compilation "All the Best!" and is considered (at least for hardcore fans like me) as a classic of all his solo catalog.

Around the same time, a new project avecinaría for 'Macca'. Beside his wife (the lovely lovely ), the faithful and fellow drummer Ringo Starr, the beautiful actress Barbara Back, and a whole cast of personalities whose names I do not get the wins to mention, Paul did the "exciting" project "Give My Regards to Broad Street "... a film whose plot is 'a day in the life' of Paul, so to speak. As in any film, develops a conflict and the characters must struggle to overcome (the rest of the story find out you were playing).

Although "Give My Regards" did not receive good reviews about the film itself, the soundtrack was widely acclaimed and its main theme "No More Lonely Nights" became a worldwide hitazo.

( No More Lonely Nights was attended by guitarist David Gilmour )

In 2001, McCartney surprised again with the beautiful duet of the film "Vanilla Sky" ... And this would be his success earned him his second Oscar nomination as a soloist (true! Forgot to mention that "Live and Let Die" was once nominated for the same award).

More recently, Paul back in the news in the world of film, writing the final issue for the nostalgic movie "All Are Good," starring Robert De Niro. It is known that McCartney saw the pilot film weeks before its release, was deeply identified with the plot, and that night after seeing her, he wrote "(I Want to) Come Home."

and did not go unnoticed. Last year was nominated for a Golden Globe Best Original Song, and a substantial advantage, winning in all public inquiries via the Internet at the time. The people of the awards, however, felt the same, Globe and bring it into place the theme of the movie "Crazy Heart" ("The Weary Kind").

A year ago I made a video as a small tribute to Come Home ... I am rather proud of it personally in the course of a few weeks received over 100,000 hits and many comments (mostly Passing: D).

If you like can go take a peek.

Finally, I highly recommend each of the topics to which I referred. If you would like more information please contact me. Keep visiting and do not forget to live every moment always with a nice background soundtrack.
