Traveling Festival 2011

Today began the journey through Mexico City Traveling sixth Festival 2011, which this time features a total of 80 documentaries from 27 countries and classified into 9 thematic categories , among which are: dedazo , new section that brings the most celebrated documentaries for national and international audience; Pulse , paragraph that drives the latest Mexican documentary filmmaking; graft, an experimental work under Constellations curating speech entitled and Sonidero , music flows more diverse and innovative proposals that include political content to loud concerts featuring angry fans.

The inauguration was held last night at the Plaza San Jerónimo , a rejuvenated areas over to the population to recover the public space of the first picture of the city. The meeting was opened by actor / director Diego Luna , Inti Muñoz Santini , general director of the Historic Centre Trust as well as the mayor of Mexico City, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon :


From 11 to 25 February Traveling Festival will feature more than 100 performances in 48 venues located throughout the City of Mexico, of which 80% will be free (except Cinépolis and Cineteca Nacional). Later, the feast of documentaries continue their journey through the interior of the country, stopping in 10 cities such as Cuernavaca, Puebla, Morelia, Hermosillo, Xalapa, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Oaxaca, San Cristobal de las Casas and finally Tijuana .
