Ruth has a very special nanny: a robot that can do almost everything needed to care for and entertain children. But one day the robot out of control circuits and the result is a hilarious little domestic catastrophe.
This funny story is full of surprises and intermediate gags that make kids to read with a smile. The sparkling illustrations Gonzalo Izquierdo, who here shows his humorous vein, give the comic tale of a visual that adds to the humor of the situation on which history pivots.
A funny story, yes, but that invites reflection on whether priority gadgets human relations technology actually improves our quality of life.
A curious aspect of the story is that the protagonists are black. The few published stories featuring the characters of color deal with racist issues or problems of the third world. It seems a nice idea that, once children can read a story featuring black children is not a sad story but a story of laughter.
